Reheating frozen Li'l Peetzas

What's the best way to reheat a frozen Li'l Peetza?

For best results, thaw in the refrigerator, then pan-fry over low heat.

  1. Let your Li'l Peetza thaw in the refrigerator.
  2. Remove the wrapper and place the thawed Li'l Peetza in a frying pan over low heat.
  3. Flip frequently until heated all the way through, about 4–5 minutes.

Heating times are approximate. Check that the center is hot before eating.

Can I microwave a Li'l Peetza straight from frozen?

Yes. You do not need to thaw it first.

  1. Remove the wrapper before microwaving so the cheese does not stick to it. Place the frozen Li'l Peetza on a microwave-safe plate.
  2. Set the microwave to 50% power and heat for 1 minute at a time, checking between intervals.
  3. Repeat until heated all the way through, about 3–4 minutes total.

Microwaves vary, so the total time is approximate. Check that the center is hot before eating.

About Li'l Peetzas

What is a Li'l Peetza?

A Li'l Peetza is pizza made to roll. Its pizza-dough shell wraps around the filling so every bite brings everything together. It may look a little like a burrito, but it is unmistakably a Li'l Peetza.

Who started Li'l Peetzas?

Richard and Beverly Hageman opened the original restaurant on Grand Avenue in Billings on April 14, 1976. Their daughters grew up in and around the family businesses. Fifty years later, Brandy, Carrie and Christie produced the anniversary celebration with Rich, Bev, family and friends helping.

Is Li'l Peetzas reopening permanently?

No permanent reopening has been announced. The October 3, 2026 celebration was a one-day reunion and a thank-you to Billings for remembering.

The 50th Anniversary Celebration
